Connolly scaffolding was proud to be working alongside CPUK to provide the scaffolding for one of Chester’s most iconic landmarks.
Standing in the heart of the historic city, Chester Shot Tower is a former derelict, Grade 2 listed building.
This ambitious 40-week project saw the shell of the original structure converted into a heritage centre and 2 stylish new-build apartments.
The aim was to provide a combination of new build and heritage, with two refurbished apartments in the 18th-century tower, alongside two new steel-framed buildings containing a further 69 apartments and three four-bed townhouses.
The scheme had previously stalled due to the principal contractor entering into administration, but everything restarted as the owner-developer finished the project.
Connolly Scaffolding provided a mix of equipment for this prestigious project.
Tube and fitting scaffolding was used alongside our innovative Plettac Metrix system for the ultimate flexibility, a short erection time and excellent value for money.
